About Dr. Ala Albazzaz

A longtime physician in Lombard, Illinois, Dr. Ala Albazzaz has worked with Skyline Physicians, LLC, since 2012. He built up 25 years of experience as a practitioner of internal medicine prior to joining Skyline Physicians, during which time he established a reputation throughout the Chicagoland area for his patient-focused approach to medicine. Dr. Ala Albazzaz’s past positions include working as a neuropsychiatry research specialist at the University of Illinois Chicago.

Dr. Ala Albazzaz is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and holds a medical degree from the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad. He underwent his internal medicine residency at Loyola University Chicago and Rush University. A Fellow of the American College of International Physicians and Member of the American College of Physicians, he has established himself as a member of several other professional organizations, including the American Medical Association. In his free time, he is an avid fan of Chicago Bulls basketball, and he enjoys playing tennis and cycling.
